UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
Buffalo, New York
When the University at Buffalo decided to relocate the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to their new facility on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, our Move Management team was there to help them through the rigorous process of making this critical transition. Relocating administrative operations and sixty research labs would prove to be a complex challenge requiring coordination with a myriad of contacts and departments. We built a relocation plan that integrated Environmental Health and Safety protocols along with University IT and UB Facilities and was implemented over a six month timeframe. The logistics were intricate as we worked through competing priorities of the various entities associated with each phase of the project. The outcome resulted in continuity of operations for both the school and research facilities, allowing the largest medical school in the nation to continue their educational excellence.
