With the need to start construction as soon as the school year was over, School No. 28, which enrolls of over 650 students, was completely emptied of all furniture, equipment, contents and library collections. Our team conducted an inventory of all furniture, and through detailed analysis was able to determine which items to relocate to their swing space, what would be stored, and what would be disposed. A detailed implementation plan was created to bring the school in its entirety from their existing building, into their swing space, including temporary storage of the library collections. New requirements for autism classrooms were incorporated into the swing school, to allow for proper administration of services in this unique environment. Our team bid and procured their new furniture, which was received the following year. After renovations were completed we managed the re-occupancy of the building with contents and teaching materials from the swing school and their library collections from storage.
