Success Story: Finger Lakes Community College

Challenge

Over time, much of the furniture throughout the college was purchased on an as-needed basis. This resulted in a mix of furnishings, ages, and finishes. With the FLCC expanding its footprint, new spaces were being furnished with new furniture, quite a contrast from the older portions of the campus. There was a desire to update the look of the existing offices and student lounges in an affordable way.

Solution

Using our inventory and furniture assessment services, the college was able to evaluate the state of their existing furnishings, along with recommendations on how to develop standardized layouts to enable the college to create a unified look across their departments. A ten-year projection on what to replace, consistent with their budget provided a useful path moving forward.
