Success Story: Wegmans Food Markets

Challenge

To address recent growth, Wegmans Food Markets needed to redevelop an old site within their existing real estate portfolio to accommodate expanding operations at existing locations. The company's commitment to sustainability drove the need for a LEED certified building that would provide space for 200 staff and associated operations.

Solution

Vargas Associates delivered project management, working hand-in-hand with Wegmans Facilities to drive this renovation from concept through design, construction and occupancy. Renovating the location previously known as the Brooks-Chili Food Market, new Class A office space was created, which is pending LEED Silver certification.
